True Tales of the Silver Fox
I’ll keep it brief this week. Today and tomorrow are my last days of moving and I am now dragging myself across the finish line. Downsizing is no joke, mes amis. After two months of ‘the selling of the things’ I am now donating the things.
And! It turns out I didn’t get rid of enough things, because at this very moment my apartment looks like someone emptied a furniture store into it. A nice one, but, OMG.
The self-inflicted pain of facing your belongings and being forced to dispose of them is an acute variety. I’m in the home stretch now, and despite my deep and utter fatigue, I’m sure I did the right thing.
Enjoy my picks below. The Topic short movies about night shift workers is a gem. If you don’t follow Liana Finck on Instagram I question what you are doing with your life. She is a prolific gem.
I am going to recover at the beach with naps, bike rides, reading, and playing in the ocean. See you next week.
